Dynamic SlideShow – AWS advanced designing techniques
An online slideshow is a series of pictures shown in one section, it allows you to display information in a more fresh and dynamic way.
Why use a slideshow?
It’s a really useful tool to organize and compress information. By using a slideshow to showcase images you can show much more information and save more space than on a printing document. It allows you to access the information quickly, without scrolling vertically or using the mouse.
Sliders are really popular on the homepage of the corporate website. Instead of looking at the different pages of a website, the user can easily and quickly access to the main information: explanation of the company, the services they offer, pictures of the products…
It saves time, focuses the attention of the user and is a very efficient and persuasive tool to communicate quickly.
For the reasons explained above, AWS has implemented slideshows on every website that we have on the last few years… and not only that;
For the last 2 years, AWS has implemented and perfected the technique of creating “LAYERED” slideshows, by separating individual elements of a single slide and giving them a unique animation, style and a particular timing to come ON and OFF the stage.
This technique is now days known as “Layered Slider” and the slider at the top of our Mainpage, is the perfect example of the advanced features we can do with this designing technique. Showcasing our ability to build advanced “Layered Sliders”, was probably the main reason why we loaded the slider in the mainpage with lots of different animation effects (an automobile entering the stage, dynamic lights shining into it, ect).
Also another example of a “Layered Slider” resides on the top of our Web Design page. This one is simpler and apart from the Logo formation & “thunderbolt” effect on the first slide, the other slides have been unified to showcase the illusion of the 3D depth of the stage, which becomes more apparent when you move your “Mouse” in & around the stage (or if you`re viewing it from your smartphone, it reacts to the physical movement of your mobile device).
You can find other great examples of “Layered Sliders” on some of the websites we designed, e.g: asema-academy.al, studio7.al or artkavalet.com.
